404 Magazine, Issue 3

UX writing is poetry. It's written under constraints, it considers the nuance of each individual word and phrase, and it tries to find clarity and simplicity in complicated ideas and subjects.

For Issue 3, we're trying something a little different. This features original poetry inspired by apps and websites, and a section of poems that are collaborations between humans and the predictive text algorithms on their phones. It's 28 pages of poems, screenshots, and art. All bound together in a full-color cover designed by Brian Sterling Lewis, a graphic designer and illustrator in the Bay Area.

This issue is 28 pages, and measures at just about 4" by 5.25".
